This year we will be learning about plastic pollution. We hope to do this by:

• Reducing our use of single-use plastics
• Taking a trip to the beach to hold a litter pick
• Writing an eco-schools policy to support us in being as eco-friendly as possible

This year we are taking on a larger allotment plot. We hope to develop this by:

• Designing the new plot so that it is accessible for all
• Fundraising for the new resources we need
• Recruiting volunteers from the local community
• Involving our children and their families to be active members in developing our plot

We will be working hard to keep our school grounds and the surrounding area tidy and free from rubbish. We hope to do this by:

• Arranging a series of litter picks
• Using litter found to create art work
• Using crisp packets to make aprons
