Giving children the chance to connect with nature has a wealth of benefits, from supporting their physical and mental wellbeing to understanding where the fruit and vegetables they eat come from. We became the proud residents of our Federation allotment plot, which is only a short walk from both nurseries, in September 2020. We started work immediately, clearing the ground, fencing, building and planting in our raised beds, then adding a pond and a bug hotel. We are now taking on a larger plot and are excited to create a further plot where we can grow even more produce.

We are always busy

Trip to Harvest Produce

We are a part of the allotment community and are always welcomed by other plot holders to harvest a collection of vegetables. They have also been a great help in supporting us in our adventures too!
