Using money raised from our bake sale, we have sponsored two animals this year, a panda and a hedgehog.  These sponsor kits came with cuddly toys that we now send home with children as travelling pets; we love looking in their diary to see what they have been getting up to. This work promotes looking after endangered animals and the books we share help us to find out more. 

Our work in this area has been to create mini bug hotels, build a hedgehog house and to design, create and build a mini pond. All of these projects have increased biodiversity in our school grounds and the local community.

We have developed our school grounds this year by planting a range of flowers during each season. We have also planted and harvested a range of vegetables and enjoyed eating them too!
